Where Are They Now: Gambino Family

Gambino Family - Ghetto Organized Album Cover

Back-to-back group releases in ’98, this one courtesy of the quartet The Gambino Family. Like Prime Suspects, they released only one album before breaking up, with two members transitioning to C-Murder’s TRU Records. Malachi and Reginelli went on to form their own group called Young Guns, and they were featured on several records between 1999 and 2000. Pheno continued to make music, but unfortunately passed away in 2021. There’s actually a music video for his “Melph Made Me” record, that has footage of his funeral if you want to check it out.

The last and perhaps most recognizable member, Lil Gotti, occasionally appears in interviews and has a book in the works. Let’s salute him and the rest of Gambino Family.
